Astrophotography is a completely different type of photography, and you often need to get crafty with your software to produce the results. Sky AI automatically analyzes an image and identifies the position of the sky, then seamlessly replaces it, taking into account its reflection in water. I test the software on both a nightscape-style photo, as well as a deep-sky photo of the Orion Nebula. Now, with Luminar 4 I can replace skies, and it is SO EASY! You still have to pay attention to the direction of light and a few other factors to make it look natural, but it is no longer super difficult – which makes it extremely fun!
